The draw for the Washington State Super Cup was held today, and the Gulls drew a home match with Harbor Force of Gig Harbor.
The Washington State Super Cup is an exciting new tournament modeled after the traditional cup competitions such as the Copa Del Rey or FA Cup. It is a single elimination competition for the premier men's teams of Washington state. Joing the Gulls and the Force in the competition are fellow WWPL sides ISC Gunners, Kirkland FC, Nido Aguila Seattle, and BeSea FC, and EPLWA teams Oly Town Artesians, Pac NW, and Washington Premier.
The Gulls will host the Force in their first ever home night match, kicking off at 7pm on Saturday, May 25th. Last season, the Gulls took 4 points from the Force in 2 meetings, drawing in Gig Harbor 3-3, and winning at Stewart Field 2-1.
