Gulls FC to Play in First Division

Grays Harbor Gulls FC will be playing in the Western Washington Premier League First Division in 2020.

The 2019 WWPL season was played as a placement season for the 2020 season when promotion and relegation will be implemented. The top 6 clubs qualify for the first division, while the bottom 5 and any new clubs will make up the second division.

Grays Harbor finished the 2019 season in 7th place after Lacey FC forfeited to Federal Way FC, giving Federal Way 6th place. The new twist to the placement is that Tacoma Narrows, who finished the 2019 season in 4th place, have left the WWPL in hopes of joining EPLWA. Because Grays Harbor finished 7th, they move up into the top 6 and the first division in 2020.

Gulls FC will join Snohomish, Kirkland, Crossfire, Nido Aguila Seattle, and Federal Way in the first division.

There has not been an update yet as to what new clubs will join the WWPL in 2020 to help make up the second division which currently consists of Lacey FC, Harbor Force, BeSea FC, and Issaquah Gunners.
